About Us

"A good friend and fellow photographer introduced me to turning some 30 years ago.  My wife bought me a used lathe and some old turning tools to help me get started.  Knowing just enough to be  dangerous, I made pens as Christmas gifts that year for all my family.  Many still have their pens.  As time went by, my equipment got newer and my tools go better.

My enthusiasm for turning has been renewed by my grandson's interest in learning the craft.  I am excited to see him spend time in front of a lathe instead of in front of a phone."

"My name is Jaxon. I first got into making pens when I was 8 years old.  The reason I got into it is because I saw my Grandpa make some pens. So one year for Christmas, I decided to make my Mom a pen for her gift.  Then after that, I just got more and more into it.  My grandpa and I decided to start selling the pens.  Then we came up with the name GENERATIONS WOODTURNING because my grandpa and I are two different generations.  That is how I started making pens."
